JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include building and maintaining the district-wide student information system and add-on modules; maintaining district-wide online subscriptions and single sign-on; collecting, verify, and reporting Civil Rights Data Collection information to the US Department of Education; collecting, entering, and verifying district data into the Missouri Core Data/MOSIS state reporting system in accordance with district policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represents the district for MOSIS/Core Data including training, webinars, consulting with other district, Missouri user group.
- Processes, sorts, verifies accuracy, and files various information in accordance with Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s MOSIS reporting cycles.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MOSIS reporting requirements and communicate any changes to the necessary district personnel.
- Service as the district contact for the student information system (Infinite Campus) and single sign-on applications (Clever).
- Installs, monitors, maintains, updates, and supports the student information system and associated programs and databases. (ie. Infinite Campus, Blackboard, Clever, and online textbooks and programs)
- Build and maintain the student information system (Infinite Campus) add-on modules(Online Registration, Food service, etc)
- Write or modify software programming, when necessary, to ensure the applications work appropriately.
- Develop, create, and maintain summer school data in the student information system.
- Collect and submit student files for Missouri Assessment Program (MAP), End of Course (EOC), and ACT online testing.
- Prepare district data for use by other district programs (ie. Student Services, Food Services, Transportation, Maintenance, and Custodial).
- Collect, verify and submit all data as required through the Civil Rights Data Collection reporting process.
- Create, manage, and support district users accounts and groups in the Google Admin Console.
- Services as the district central online registration contact and verify residency requirements for students..
- Provide leadership and instruction to entry level staff.
- Provide training and support for district users regarding the student information system.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Technology and district administration regarding reporting timelines and requirements.
- Prepare reports as requested by the school district auditors.
- Recommend modifications that will enhance operating and development activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Additional duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with various software applications, databases and related management programs preferred.
- Knowledge of computer systems, networks, databases, and related software.
- Preference will be provided to candidates with experience in Infinite Campus and/or DESE reporting.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to present information in a group setting.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form.
- Ability to solve problems and effectively manage time for efficient operations.
- Ability to concentrate, think, read and learn is necessary to perform the essential job duties.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of student management and GSuite programs.
- Ability to verify data input and correct errors.
- Ability to interact with students, faculty and/or staff in a team environment.
- Desire to learn more advanced PC applications and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated organizational ability.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet with frequent interruptions. The employee continuously interacts with staff and the public.
